Två kort | Two cards

Scrappat för HOBBYWORLD

----------------------------------------

In the collections of Teresa Collins you'll find beautiful, hefty – and double sided paper. They are heavy and will do as a card base if you don't prefer solid coloured paper as I do. This time I've worked with the collection called ”Spring Fling” that is beautifully ”springy”!

In the collection there's also different decorations to choose from, including one sheet of die cuts and another sheet of chipboard shapes.

----------------------------------------
My hearts I cut out with my scissors. In the middle of the flower I punched out a scalloped circle with the punch from Epiphany Crafts and then attatched the Bubble Cap that goes with it. As usual I have to chalk around the edges of everything so I punched out my little scalloped circle, then I picked it out from the punch, chalked it, then put it back in the shape of the punch, and after that I attatched the acrylic scallop shape on top. If you have to chalk around the edge, that is the best way to do it, the job trying to fit the shapes without the punch will be a lot harder...
The texts i found suited perfectly for a newly engaged couple - don't you think?

----------------------------------------
Next card is a bit wider than usual, it's as big as 8 inches wide, and with a normal height of 4 inches.  One of the borders is punched out with  Martha Stewarts Doily Lace Edge Punch, but all the others is from the die cut sheet – nice and handy!

----------------------------------------
Below you'll see that I folded the wings of the butterfly to get some depth in the card, it doesn't get all that flat and boring. Always fun working with 3D adhesives and such when you do layers, it makes nice effects. If you plan to send the card by mail a good idea might be to cut the card base a bit smaller than usual, around 1 cm width and height, just in case. Otherwise your envelope might burst! ;)

----------------------------------------
Here I used 3D adhesives as well to get some height in the different layers of the card!

----------------------------------------
That's it for now – but I'll see you in a week or so!
