Hobbyworld | Beginnings

Jag gjorde ett ganska enkelt kort denna gång. Jag började med att stämpla upp de ljuvliga älvorna från Inkadinkado och färglade dem. Skar ut cirklarna från det mönstrade pappret efter att jag markerat på baksidan av pappret var jag ville ha hålen. Sedan skar jag ut jag ut mina stämpelmotiv i samma storlek som hålen.

Två av de utskurna cirklarna från mönsterpappret vände jag på och använde till kortet, den ena stämplade jag min text och några fjärilar på, jag embossade även efteråt då det såg lite platt ut. Den andra cirkeln vred jag 45 grader så rutmönstret blev lite annorlunda innan jag limmade fast det.

Jag markerade var stämpelmotiven och de andra två cirklarna skulle sitta på kortbasen, limmade fast dem, och sedan knöt jag en liten rosett med ett spetsband och satte fast mönsterpappret med hålen med 3D-kuddar. Jag limmade tre blommor i det tomma ”hålet, men tyckte det saknades något så jag letade upp Eiffeltornet, och så givetvis lite glitterlim på älvavingarna samt på blommorna!

Nu är mitt kort redo att skänkas till någon som står inför en ny start i livet!

I made a simple card this time. I stamped my fairies and colored them, I cut ut circles from the patterned paper after I marked out where the holes shold go, and then i cut ut circles with my fairies the same size.

Two of the circles cut out from the paper I used for the project, but showing the pattern on the backside instead. On one of them I stamped my sentiment and some cute butterflies and embossed them, and the other circle i turned 45 degrees for a different check pattern.

I marked out the position for my circles on the card base and glued them down, then i put a nice little lace bow on the card front and adhered the card front to the base with 3D-foam. I put a few flowers in the empty cirkle, but still thougt there was something missing – and found the Eiffel Tower, and of corse I just had to put some glitter glue ob the wings of the fairies and on the flowers!

Now I have a card for someone looking forward to a new start in life!
